Change of Corporate Counsel

One of the first actions of the new board was to replace Wolfson & Carroll with Adam Leitman Bailey, PC as corporate counsel. Not everyone agreed with the change but some felt it was better for the new board to have a fresh set of eyes on the current construction contract as well as any other executed and pending legal agreements. Adam Bailey was Luna Park’s prior counsel, has great connections with HPD and various levels of government, and already had HPD approval. Luna Park can’t hire just anyone, HPD has to agree.

We’re still deciding if changing our current landlord/tenant counsel, Sontag & Hyman, makes sense as well.

A note to any new readers

As you well know, there’s a bit of chaos around. On top of that, the board itself has operated very archaically. It’s hard to know where to get started, what to tell you, and how to go forward. We’re going to let you know this is here and read your comments which will help shape and prioritize what we post.

Welcome to the Luna Park blog

The board of directors will try to keep this up-to-date with relevant happenings and get feedback via comments. The idea is to make sure communication flows both ways, uninterrupted, and let everyone draw their own conclusions from whatever facts are available. There will also be an effort made to digitize and publish Luna Park’s documents.
